What is the estimated range of the handsets from the base and the range of the handsets from each other in DirectlinkTM mode?

The approximate range you can expect when the handsets are in DirectlinkTM mode is up to a maximum of 3000 ft for the DCT series and up to 6000 ft for the TRU series phones. These numbers are based on a clear line of site in an open field. Due to the environment that they are used in, the range will be affected.

You can be as far away from the base as you want. Also, when in DirectlinkTM mode, you can use the phones anywhere you want, they do not need to be near the base to use. However for the phone to be initially placed into DirectlinkTM mode, it needs to be in the base.
